ITINERARY
Day 1 – Tuesday, 25th January—Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, you will be met and chauffeured to the hotel.
One night in Delhi – Accommodation is in Deluxe Room with ensuite facilities and breakfast included.
Day 2- Wednesday, 26th January—Delhi/Jabalpur/Bandhavgarh
Breakfast, then morning departure via chauffeured transfer to Delhi domestic airport to board economy flight to Jabalpur.
On arrival in Jabalpur, group will be driven to Bandhavgarh (approximately 4 ½ hour drive).
On arrival in Bandhavgarh, check into lodge for three-night stay, standard room with ensuite facilities, meals and scheduled game activities by shared jeeps included.
Days 3 & 4 – Thursday & Friday, 27th & 28th January—Bandhavgarh
Explorations inside the reserve will be a mix of early morning and evening shared jeep drives and trips on elephant back. *Elephant rides cannot be guaranteed as this depends on the successful tracking of tigers by the mahouts and their team of elephants, therefore, this specific activity is to be paid at the time of successful tracking.
Day 5 – Saturday, 29th January—Bandhavgarh/Khajuraho/Varanasi
Early morning transfer to Khajuraho Airport (approximately 5 ½ hour drive) to board economy flight to Varanasi.
On arrival in Varanasi, the group will be chauffeured to the hotel.
Evening trip out to film the River Ganges.
Two nights at Varanasi hotel, standard room accommodations with ensuite facilities, breakfast included.
Day 6 – Sunday, 30th January—Varanasi
Early morning boat cruise. After breakfast, group will have the option of visiting Sarnath (approximately 45-min from Varanasi) to view Buddhist remains and the pilgrims who visit their ruins. Post tour return to Varanasi.
Remaining day at participant’s leisure to explore Varanasi.
Day 7 – Monday, 31st January—Varanasi/Delhi
Morning photo session along River Ganges.
Return to hotel for check out and chauffeur transfer to Varanasi Airport for economy flight to Delhi.
On arrival in Delhi, the group will be met and chauffeured to hotel.
Late afternoon photography session in Delhi.
One night in Delhi hotel, deluxe room accommodation with ensuite facilities, breakfast included.
Day 8 – Tuesday, 1st February—Delhi/Jodhpur/Manvar
After breakfast, group will be chauffeur transferred to Delhi domestic airport for economy flight to Jodhpur.
On arrival in Jodhpur, we will be met and transferred to hotel for lunch.
After lunch, group will be driven to Manvar (approximately 2 ½ hours drive).
On arrival in Manvar, group will check into the resort.
Two nights at resort, standard room accommodations with ensuite facilities, meals included.
Photograph desert activities.
Day 9 – Wednesday, 2nd February—Manvar
Early morning trip to Khichan to see amazing mass feeding of the Demoiselle cranes. The cranes fly in to this tiny village to feed on grains that the villagers have put out for them every morning.
Afternoon walking tour of nearby surrounding villages.
Day 10 – Thursday, 3rd February—Jodphur/Delhi
Morning photographing in Jodphur.
Late afternoon chauffeured transfer to Jodphur Airport for economy flight to Delhi.
On arrival in Delhi, party will be met for a drive to Agra (approximately 5 hour drive).
On arrival in Delhi, party is chauffeured to hotel.
One night in Delhi hotel, standard room with ensuite facilities, breakfast included.
Day 11 – Thursday, 4th February—Delhi/Home
Filming in Delhi and visit to the old ‘walled city’ of Chandni Chowk via rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes.
Late evening transfer to International Airport to board flights home.
Trip price: $8500 per person
Single Room Supplement: $1100
International air travel to and from Delhi is not included.
Additional days in Delhi may be arranged on an individual basis.
