ITINERARY

Day 1 – Tuesday, 16th February—Yangon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Sightseeing begins with a tour of Chinatown, Indiatown, and Downtown including a visit to a historic and picturesque pagoda.

Two nights in Yangon Hotel, deluxe room with ensuite facilities.

Day 2- Wednesday, 17th February—Yangon

Breakfast and then on to further exploration of Yangon including Botataung Pagoda, Chaukhtutkyi Reclining Buddha, Kabaaye Pagoda and the monasteries . Sunset session filming pagoda landscapes.

Day 3 – Thursday, 18th February—Yangon to Bagan

Early morning departure after breakfast to board economy flight to Bagan.

After arriving in Bagan, the party will visit and photographs the scenes of Bagan.

Three nights at Bagan Hotel, river view rooms with ensuite facilities.

Day 4 – Friday, 19th February—Bagan

Before breakfast, there is an early morning sunrise filming session from a balloon ride above Bagan and then on to further explore fascinating Bagan.

Day 5 – Saturday, 20th February—Bagan - Popa - Bagan

Sunrise photo shoot at temple before breakfast. Party departs via private van to Mt. Papa visiting villages and palm sugar plantations along the way.

Day 6 – Sunday, 21st February—Bagan-Mandalay-Palaik-Amarapura-Mandalay

Early morning breakfast, transfer to airport to board economy flight to Mandalay.

Upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport, the party will be driven to sightseeing locations in Mandalay.

After lunch, check-in to hotel with short rest before leaving to photograph more of the city and sunset opportunities weather permitting.

Three nights in Mandalay hotel, superior room accommodation with ensuite facilities, meals included.

Day 7 – Monday, 22nd February—Mandalay-Mingun-Mandalay

Early morning breakfast and departure for sunrise boat ride to Mingun.

Exploration of Mingun sights before returning to Mandalay for lunch.

Further photographing in Mandalay at selected monasteries and sights.

Day 8 – Tuesday, 23rd February—Mandalay-Ava-Sagaing-Mandalay

After breakfast, the party will be transferred to Amarapura and visit the local market, famous silk weaving factories, and grand monastery.

Continuing the drive to Ava (Inn Wa ) , we’ll cross the River Myitnge and sightsee by horse cart.

The drive goes on to Sagaing to enjoy the many sights there before returning to Mandalay for selected visits to craft makers.

Day 9 – Wednesday, 24th February—Mandalay to Inle

After breakfast, the party transfers to airport for economy flight to Heho . Upon arrival at Heho, the group will be driven to Inle. Sightseeing and photography opportunities before the group takes a boat ride to the hotel.

Three nights at Inle hotel, lake view rooms with ensuite facilities.

Day 10 – Thursday, 25th February—Inle Lake

Early breakfast and visit to Indein village and pagoda.

After lunch visit to Nampam and Paw Kone villages to see craftmakers. Sunset photography of fishermen.

Day 11 – Friday, 26th February—Inle Lake

Early morning opportunity to photograph the fisherman at the lake before breakfast before group leaves to visit the 5-day Market and floating gardens among the many other sights of the Inle Lake region.

Day 12 – Saturday, 27th Februrary—Inle – Heho - Yangon

After breakfast, the party boards the boat ride back to Nyaung Shwe for a visit to their market. The group is then driven to Heho airport to return to Yangon by domestic flight visiting sights along the way.

At Yangon, group will be transferred to hotel for check-in. Additional sightseeing and photography before the party gathers for a Farewell Dinner at the hotel.

One night at Yangon hotel, deluxe room accommodations with ensuite facilities.

Day 13 – Sunday, 28th January—Yangon Departure

After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure flights.



Price includes: Lodging, all meals, domestic economy flights, ground-transportation, guide/translator, boat fares on scheduled rides, entrance and Archaeological Zone fees for scheduled visits, portage charges at airports and jetty, camera and video fees, balloon ride and tips for local staff.
