Crash Course in Photography Beginners
With John Greengo
This class is designed to be the perfect one-day training session for the beginning photographer. Whether you’re the owner of a new digital SLR or an enthusiast that desires to learn the fundamentals properly, this class will put all participants on firm ground for advancing their photography.
To ensure every student gets an adequate amount of attention the class will be limited to twelve participants.
This class will introduce participants to all the basic principles of photography including:
- Depth of Field – What it is, and how you can use it to make better photos.
- Lenses – How to get the most out of what you have.
- Exposure - Get it right in the field without any fuss.
- Focus – Learn the many ways how focus is affected and how to control it.
- Digital Sensors – Capabilities and benefits of your camera’s sensor.
In addition to the technical, the class will also explore the artistic side of photography covering topics such as light, composition, point of view and subject placement. Participants can expect clear and thoughtful explanations with photographic examples along the way.
